Trump's Family Member Gets Professional Advice from Tiger Woods Before LPGA First Appearance

Young golfer getting ready for significant tournament

The rising star has substantial social media following

Kai Trump will have plenty of high-profile supporters as she begins her first LPGA appearance this Thursday.

The 18-year-old athlete, who happens to be related to a former US president, was granted a sponsor's invitation to compete at the Annika competition in Florida.

The former president, an avid golfer, possesses multiple international courses and frequently matches against Kai.

"He's pretty good. I can't say much but we play some close matches," she stated.

She mentioned that Trump, unable to come, advised her: "Simply stay calm."

"My grandpa practically suggested to go out there and relax," she explained.

"From my perspective, he's just a normal grandpa. He's not attending for the tournament. He's focused on world affairs, making him quite busy."

As an amateur, Kai has played in only three events recently and has the 461st position in the American Junior Golf Association rankings.

But she can receive tips from 15-time major champion, romantically involved with Kai's mother.

"He represents the greatest golfer worldwide," Kai expressed.

"And he's a more impressive individual. He advised me to go out there, have fun, following whatever happens."

She'll challenge several most prominent players in the sport at the competition, including second-ranked Nelly Korda, England's Charley Hull, Lexi Thompson and last year's winner Lilia Vu.

Tournament organizers commented that Kai's presence helps introduce golf to new audiences, particularly among the next generation.

Kai has substantial online presence and recently launched a personal fashion and living brand.

Her first tee time at 5:30 PM GMT.
